The American Seniors Housing Association (ASHA) is
a proud partner of the Alzheimer's Association in the
fght to end Alzheimer's disease.
Alzheimer's disease is the sixth leading cause of
death in the United States today, impacting an estimated
5.2 million individuals.
Nation's largest event
ASHA has created a National Team in the Walk to
End Alzheimer's, the nation's largest event to raise
awareness and funds to end Alzheimer's disease.
In 2014, ASHA's member companies formed nearly
1,400 teams, and raised over $3.4 million for the Alzhei-
mer's Association.
The Walk to End Alzheimer's unites the entire com-
munity in a display of combined strength and dedica-
tion in the fght against this devastating disease.

research, advocacy efforts
and essential programs and
services for those afficted
with this disease.

both through fundraising and participating in events,
help to change the level of Alzheimer's awareness in
